On a recent visit around the Council House and Mayor’s Parlour in Nottingham, Gerry is pictured showing the crystal vase gift from the Irish Community in Nottingham to the city of Nottingham. The vase was presented to the Lord Mayor ‘full of shamrock’ on St. Patrick’s Day. Next to the vase is a replica of the Robin Hood statue which is erected at Nottingham Castle.
Irish minister for Foreign Affairs Dermot Ahern being presented with a DVD of the 2006 St. Patrick’s Parade. The minister was at the Irish Embassy in London on the occasion of the announcement of the 2006 Dion allocations (funding from the Irish Government to the Irish in Britain).
