Three North London Catholic Charities benefit from Gala Irish Concert
Triskellion Productions in association with St. Joseph’s Parish, Harrow Weald have produced this Gala event. Headlining the concert was the legendary Irish Entertainer Brendan Shine. Irish and Country singers come and go but Brendan the genius with the accordion shines on! He has adapted his entertainment to changing tastes, yet giving to his audiences the ‘old songs’ and his many comical and lively ‘sing-a- longs’.
On-line version of the 1901 and 1911 Irish Census launched
Irish Ambassador to Britain His Excellency Mr Bobby McDonagh hosted a reception on 2 July at the Irish Embassy London, to launch the on-line version of the 1901 and 1911 Irish Census.
The Guest of Honour and Key Note Speaker was Ms Mary Hanafin TD, Minister for Tourism, Sport and Culture. Niall Gibbons, Chief Executive of Tourism Ireland, also attended, to inform the Irish in Britain of a new promotional campaign being launched in Britain.
